NOKIA wondering why phone sales are down?
Two words sum it all up. NOKIA SUCKS. NOKIA, your clamshell phones are not appealing. They lack Panache! You have discontinued your CDMA division the last time I read. Here is a hint, GSM in the united states is still 20 years behind CDMA. That is why ATT is moving on to LTE. There is an upside down value to GSM going forward and I look forward to the end of the technology.
Your smart phones also lack razzle dazzle, the ones available under contract anyway. The unlocked pones available under contract are PHAT! The unfortunate aspect related to non-contract unlocked phones is they are so expensive that they are unsellable.
Phones now are released every quarter. The newer ones always faster and better than the predecessor. So an $800.00 phone every 3 months does not work for most people.
Solution: Go back to that 2 phone model you had back in the 90s. NOKIA had these two indestructible phones back in the day and the phones were the envy of everyone. Create one clamshell and one candy-bar-smartphone kind of handset and make them a FLAGSHIP STATUS PHONE! And then NOKIA will own the world.
But they wont. Nobody will follow this advice. If you are out there and want to consult, and own the handset market, I am for hire. Create a tumblr and follow me then leave a post of contact info.
